Housekeeper / Family Assistant (with Light Nanny Responsibilities) We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper/Family Assistant to help manage our busy household. The role is primarily focused on housekeeping, organization, and household support, with occasional childcare-related responsibilities. Schedule / Compensation
- Compensation : $35 - $40/hour depending on experience
- School Year: Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-7:30 PM (40 hours per week)
- Location : West Village, NYC (3,000-square-foot apartment)
- Summer: 4 days on / 3 days off in the Hamptons
- Typically Monday-Thursday, though some weeks may be Tuesday-Friday or Wednesday-Saturday depending on family needs
- Ages 16, 14, and 11
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home
- Deep cleaning and household organization
- Daily laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organization
- Maintaining household supplies and general household management
- Running errands as needed
- Occasional pick-up or drop-off of our 11-year-old daughter to activities
- Assisting with dinner preparation several evenings per week
- Dog care, including walking our dog 1-2 times daily
- Strong housekeeping and cleaning skills with high attention to detail
- Organized, proactive, and self-directed
- Comfortable working in a fully staffed family environment
- Enjoys cooking and meal preparation
- Loves dogs and is comfortable with pet care
- Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable, flexible, and professional
