Behavioral Health Pharmacist
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a pharmacist for an ongoing behavioral health hospital assignment in the Kalamazoo, MI area. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist seeking a consistent weekly schedule within an inpatient behavioral health setting.
Assignment Details
- Start: June 2026
- Duration: Ongoing coverage
- Schedule: Fridays preferred
- Hours: On-call 5:00am8:00am, onsite 8:00am4:30pm, then on-call until 7:30pm
- Mondays may be considered if Fridays are unavailable
Requirements
- Active Michigan pharmacist license in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience preferred
- Experience with HCS preferred
- Experience with Med-Dispense preferred
Responsibilities
- Medication order verification
- Medication dispensing and distribution
- Inventory management and medication stocking
- Support daily pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
