Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics, emotional struggles, and individualized therapeutic needs. \n
- Create tailored treatment plans that set measurable, achievable goals to enhance client well-being and promote personal and relational growth. \n
- Implement evidence-based techniques using family systems theory and systemic interventions to address communication issues, relationship dynamics, and family stressors. \n
- Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and mental health stability of clients and their families. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice. \n
- Educate clients on effective communication strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and coping mechanisms to strengthen their relationships and individual resilience. \n
- Collaborate with a wide array of professionals in interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including referrals to specialists as appropriate. \n
- Engage in continual professional development and training to stay updated on the latest practices in marriage and family therapy as well as telehealth methodologies. \n
As an LMFT at Trinidad Behavioral Health Center, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele ranging from individuals facing personal challenges to families navigating complex relational dynamics. The telehealth format allows you to reach underserved populations in remote areas, ensuring that quality mental health care is accessible to all.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas. \n
- A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field. \n
- Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth technology and platforms to engage with clients effectively. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills tailored for virtual therapy sessions. \n
- Strong commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices, upholding the dignity and rights of clients. \n
- Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule that accommodates clients across different time zones. \n

- Previous experience providing teletherapy or remote counseling services. \n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, alongside opportunities for a sign-on bonus.
