Lead Field Service Technician

Responsibilities Lead and guide safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants at customer sites. Assist with and direct training and development of new technicians. Operate air separation plants and solve field site issues with minimal supervision. Interact with customers across various production plant types, offering guidance, support, and clear communication. Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location. Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems. Manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements, driving efficiency through strategic planning and project management. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary technical education or relevant work experience preferred. Strong practical skills and knowledge of production processes, plant equipment, and emergency procedures. Expertise in instrumentation, control, mechanical, and electrical maintenance of industrial equipment. Strong safety awareness; strictly follow procedures during troubleshooting, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair. Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form; able to understand process control schematics. Proficiency in computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems; strong organizational and time‑management skills. Physical ability to meet requirements including confined‑space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call‑in coverage ensuring reliable presence during critical periods.
