Custodial TechnicianCompany: Rodeo Cannabis Co.Location: Sterling, CTJob Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PMPay Rate: $18.00 per hourJob SummaryRodeo Cannabis Co. is a vertically integrated cannabis company with cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensary operations in Connecticut. We are hiring a Custodial Technician at our Sterling, CT facility. The Custodial Technician is responsible for keeping our entire facility clean, sanitized, and compliant with our high standards of cleanliness, including production floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas. This is an essential role that supports the safety and quality of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness throughout production areas, offices, break rooms, hallways, and common spaces.Sweep, mop, vacuum, and care for all flooring surfaces throughout the facility.Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms on a regular schedule throughout each shift.Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment per sanitation protocols.Clean windows, glass partitions, and other interior surfaces as needed.Collect, sort, and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with facility protocols.Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report low stock or equipment issues promptly.Follow all cleaning SOPs and Connecticut cannabis facility cleanliness and compliance standards.Identify and report any facility maintenance needs, safety hazards, or spills immediately.Required QualificationsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a full shift.Capable of repetitive bending, reaching, kneeling, and physical tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces.Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.Ability to follow standard operating procedures in a regulated facility.Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic.Must be 18 years of age or older per Connecticut cannabis regulations.Must successfully pass a background check as required by Connecticut cannabis industry compliance.Preferred QualificationsPrior custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience.Experience cleaning in a commercial, industrial, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing setting.Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (auto-scrubbers, buffers, etc.).Knowledge of OSHA, SDS, or general workplace safety standards.Ability to work independently and manage cleaning schedules efficiently.Note: We will train the right person with the right skills and attitude.
