Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Florida Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Home Health physical therapy experience required. Candidates must have experience performing start of care visits, evaluations, subsequent visits, recertifications, and discharges in a home health setting. Ability to travel within assigned coverage areas, including Cape Coral and North Fort Myers. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for travel between patient visits. Mileage between visits will be reimbursed. Preferred: demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a home health care environment.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Monday–Friday, approximately 08:00–16:00 (5x8 schedule). Weekly Hours: 40 hour guarantee. Coverage Areas: Cape Coral and North Fort Myers. On-call/Weekend Requirement: None. Primary responsibilities: start of cares, evaluations, subsequent visits, recertifications, and discharges. Dress code: scrubs in any color.

The area supports a coastal, suburban lifestyle with boating access via the Caloosahatchee River and frequent community events in downtown Fort Myers within a short commute. Transportation options include Southwest Florida International Airport about 20 minutes away and regional highways for easy access to Cape Coral and North Fort Myers.
