Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift surgical unit position requiring 2 years of current nursing experience and dysrhythmia management skills.

Details

• Work on the Orthopedic/GI/Spine/Trauma/General Surgery unit
• Provide pre and post bedside surgical care for orthopedic, ortho-spine, trauma, and neuro-surgery patients
• Adult inpatient acute and telemetry level of care
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12-hour rotation
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• Dysrhythmia management experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Experience in a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

Additional Information

• Deliver med/surg telemetry level nursing care to post-surgical patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet setting and experience requirements
