We focus on professional development by providing the necessary training for all employees to remain up-to-date on all our manufacturers and current technologies.We believe our employees and customers will recognize us as a leader in our industry and a valuable resource!We invite you to apply to be a part of our winning team!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran.Benefits: Medical (HMO, HSA & PPO options), Dental, Vision, Generous Profit Sharing and 401k Program, Short Term & Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discounts through ADP LifeMart/LifeCare, Paid Time OfPosition SummaryThis position is responsible for acting as primary technical resource for the sales team while assisting with pre- and post- sales activities for commercial, municipal, industrial and residential building systems and equipment project opportunities to achieve customer satisfaction.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides technical support and expertise to sales, inside sales, purchasing, service and customers.Reviews customer requirements, project, bid, RFQ specifications, sourcing requirements and application information to determine the best solution(s) for the project.Prepares job quotations including list of products and services, pricing, delivery and freight information.Builds and maintains relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, contractors, end users and wholesalers.Records in CRM system details of customer interactions or transactions, quotations, inquiries and comments, as well as any actions taken.Assists sales and service teams with seminars, customer training and field start-ups as required.Attends meetings as required to discuss status of outstanding quotes, pending projects and to ensure jobs are completed on schedule.Acts as back-up for the inside sales team during vacations, absences or peak periods.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.QualificationsBachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer skills required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet functionality required.Proficiency utilizing Enterprise software preferred (Prophet 21 by Epicor).
