Job Title: Clinical Manager Location: Gig Harbor, Federal Way, and Tacoma Salary: $110,000 - $151,360 annually. Salary commensurate with experience. About the position The Clinical Manager is responsible for managing daily clinic operations to deliver safe, high-quality care. This role fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while aligning clinical operations with organizational goals. This role partners closely with leadership to drive operational efficiency, staffing optimization and adherence to quality and compliance standards. Core Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Provide direct supervision, coaching and development of staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and front office team Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and retention efforts to build a strong, engaged team Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care Conduct regular staff meetings, rounding, and engagement initiatives Serves as Safety Committee Chair, participates in practice meetings and workgroups as needed Clinical Operations Oversee day-to-day clinical workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality care delivery Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity to meet patient demand Partner with providers and interdisciplinary teams to improve care coordination Promotes exceptional customer service and patient-centered care Resolves patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally Manages clinical equipment and medication ordering Identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience and throughput Serves as a clinical resource for complex patient care situations and triage decisions Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations on strategic planning and implementation of practice initiatives Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to evidence-based pediatric guidelines, clinical standards of care, policies, and regulatory requirements Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and implement best practices. Support audits, compliance and risk management activities Promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement Investigate and resolve clinical incidents, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow-up Maintains readiness for medical emergencies and oversees emergency protocols Ensures clinical compliance including, but not limited to, OSHA, hazardous materials, material data safety sheets, blood borne pathogens, exposure control plan fire safety and disaster preparedness. Administrative Oversight Manage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies and medication orders Monitor productivity and implement cost-control strategies while maintaining quality of care Support strategic planning and execution of departmental and organizational initiatives Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and data integrity Conducts regular visits to all office locations to engage with staff, fostering in-person communication and connection Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Clinical nursing practices, standards of care, and evidence-based guidelines Healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., state nursing laws, accreditation standards) Quality improvement methodologies and patient safety principles Healthcare operations, including staffing models and workflow optimization Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation standards Infection control practices and risk management principles Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching and performance management Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders Critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities Time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Data analysis and ability to interpret quality and operational metrics Change management and process improvement skills Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team toward shared goals Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing clinical and operational needs Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining patient safety and staff support Ability to build strong relationships with providers, staff, and leadership Ability to identify gaps, drive improvements, and implement sustainable solutions Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment Ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Education and Experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related field) preferred A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement processes Benefits Health and Vision Insurance: 100% employee premium covered Dental, Orthodontia, Life, and Voluntary Insurance Plans 401(k) Retirement Plan: Employer match and profit sharing Generous PTO: 4 weeks of PTO during the first year of employment, available after 90 days Toll Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Support for your well-being Paid Holidays: 8 per year Candidate required to pass background check and drug screen.
