Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or general outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Clinical documentation skills including evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and timely charting.
• Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits as part of visit scheduling.
• Experience supervising or delegating to therapy aides or assistants and participating in student clinical education is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with safe patient handling techniques and clinic safety programs preferred.
• Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and clinical outcome measures preferred.

Assignment Details

• 40 hours per week.
• Split coverage between Aurora Quincy and Highlands Ranch locations.
• 60 minute evaluations and 30 minute follow-up visits.
• May be asked to float between clinic locations as needed.

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Ensure functional treatment programs that support effective return to community activities. Provide patient, family, student, and coworker education. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice act and organizational policies. Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. Participate in performance improvement activities and promote a culture of patient and employee safety.
