YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here- use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience. As the Back of House Specialist, you will cover multiple areas of the housekeeping department. You will maintain the hotel’s public areas, and grounds in a high level of cleanliness and organization in accordance with company and franchise standards and provides excellent customer service to the hotels guests.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

Cleans and sanitizes assigned public areas in accordance with company policy. Assists front desk associates with deliveries to guest and meeting rooms and the cleaning of guest rooms after hours. Assists the executive housekeeper as needed with deliveries, cots, cribs, trash, etc Ensures hotel equipment, such as carts, vacuums, and any other housekeeping equipment are maintained properly and secured. Provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond to the hotels guests. Immediately addresses guest’s requests. Maintain, track and complete daily worksheet of mini-bar stock. Maintain mini-bar pantry including par stock, organization, and cleanliness. Ensure products in mini-bar are not expired. Comply with procedure to remove expired products as necessary. Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products. Maintain assigned mini-bar carts. Maintain and complete assigned floors and rooms requesting mini-bar service. Follow required safety and standard operating procedures. Report all mini-bar concerns to management including any guest issues Receive, evaluate condition, separate, and launder soiled linen from guest rooms. Prepare required F&B linen in a timely fashion. Examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability. Fold and/or press linen as appropriate. Maintain linen and laundry supplies such as cleaning and starching agents Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of laundry room. Store folded laundered items in linen supply area. Conduct inventories as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager Keep linen area clean, stocked and organized. Properly attired in uniform and nametag, in accordance with franchise and company grooming and uniform policy. Communicates with superiors and co-workers about the status of guest requests and assigned tasks. Replenish mini-bar items in rooms. Reports all incidents and injuries to the appropriate supervisor. Provides input and ideas on the operation of the hotel. Participates in training initiatives and skill development. Completes any other task requested by a supervisor, including training new associates.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience and/or Training Houseman/housekeeping and customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

U.S. Work Authorization (required).
