ADJUNCT – CHEMISTRY ( BASIC )

The purpose of this position is to teach lower-division, non-majors and Health-Science Chemistry courses and laboratories in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Chemistry. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline. Preferred Qualifications Success college teaching experience in Chemistry. Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction. Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, specimens, and equipment. Perform other related duties within the department as assigned.
