Live, play and work in the Gunnison (Crested Butte, Co) Valley. Enjoy our 4-10's work week Monday-Thrusday. The Fireplace Company is a full hearth service and installation business. This is a growing business with room for advancement for the right candidate. We provide training, certification, tools, work trucks, uniforms, and excellent pay. Paid apprentices earn up to $24-30 per hour based on experience. Our company offers paid time off, work phones, wrapped trucks, and work clothing. Skills that you will acquire in our profession: Gas Fireplace and Log Install, Wood Stove and Fireplace Install, Venting Install, Fireplace Service What we are looking for: Construction Minded Ambition with Appreciation for Craftsmanship Enjoys Working Outside Clean Driving Record Framing and Carpentry skills are a plus High school grad or equivalent Normal dexterity required in field environment including hand-eye coordination, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, standing, alertness (attention to detail). Will also require heavy lifting. Ability to climb ladders up to 50 feet. Sitting and driving for extended periods of time to get to locations, and walking to perform inspection of locations.
