North America Sovereign Financing Sales - Associate

The NA Financing Sales team sits within Markets in the Commercial and Investment Bank covering institutional clients globally. Be part of the NA Financing Sales team and contribute to its success.The North America Financing Sales team covers clients globally across a broad range of products, including repo, securities lending, and financing solutions and is seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate for a client-coverage role in the New York office. The successful candidate will cover Hedge funds, Asset managers, Banks, Corporations and Pension funds for their financing, short covering and yield enhancement needs across North America Sovereign bonds and other Asset-Backed-Securities. The candidate’s main responsibility will be to drive the growth of the business by onboarding new clients to the franchise and by growing balances with existing clients, executing both vanilla and more structured financing transactions. The successful candidate will be a solution-oriented team-player who collaborates with colleagues in Sales, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Legal and Operations to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.Job responsibilities:Coverage responsibilities for North America Sovereigns financing needs across a broad range of client types within a global teamCollaborate with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Legal and Operations to deliver the firm to our client baseOperate closely alongside the broader Sales business to identify client gaps / potential growth opportunitiesChallenge existing set-up and drive efficiencies / improvements in our product offering to clientsDeliver the full spectrum of products that the team covers to our client baseDrive the tech/automation agenda in the productAchieve operational efficiencies working closely with Middle and Back-office colleaguesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Entrepreneurial, ambitious, strong problem-solving capabilities, drivenAbility to work in fast paced, high pressure environment 1+ years of relevant experience (preferably in client-facing roles)Finance Degree or relevant equivalentFinancing, Capital markets or structuring experience strongly preferredExperience and aptitude in balancing & influencing internal and external stakeholder interestsGenuine interest and motivation to work in markets & with clientsAbility to understand complex topics and products and explain them to other partiesAbility to think on a strategic level and identify future opportunities for business growthVery strong communication skillsAbility to grasp new concepts & products and deliver them to clientsProactive, team player, detail-oriented, and motivatedExcellent time management JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
