Analyst Asset Protection Solutions

Job Summary

Responsible for delivering data analysis and insights that support Product Protection strategies and High Risk Product initiatives within the Asset Protection team. Evaluates multiple data sources, including locked item scanning, operational metrics, inventory data, shrink performance, and field feedback, to measure effectiveness of protection investments, identify opportunities, and quantify business impact. Applies analytical techniques to uncover trends, develop reporting solutions, support pilots and program enhancements, and provide recommendations that improve product availability, customer experience, sales, and shrink outcomes. Collaborates with business partners to translate complex data into actionable insights and support the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex analysis of information, problems, and/or data under general supervision.
• Makes recommendations for the review of more senior staff members.
• Tracks, monitors and measures the benefit of implemented solutions for moderately complex issues, applying company policies and procedures in the resolution of a variety of issues.
• Communicates perceived risks to senior staff members and leadership with recommendations for mitigation.
• Computes metrics and analytics involving moderately complex issues.
• Develops, analyzes and disseminates moderately complex reports.
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships to work collaboratively. Shares knowledge with the team.
• Resolves moderately complex issues.
• Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• Recommends streamlined processes and process improvements to more senior staff members. Assists in driving change as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 years of professional experience in the public or private section OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of professional experience in the public or private section.
• Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in asset protection
• Retail experience a plus
• Analytical skills required
• Proficiency in modern analytics tools, specifically SQL and Databricks for data processing, alongside Tableau and Power BI for building dynamic reports.
• Intermediate Excel experience

Salary Range: $65000 - $113750 / Salaried
