Bankruptcy Associate Attorney (Dual Bar Required: MD & VA)

Bankruptcy Associate AttorneyWe are looking for an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to manage a variety of bankruptcy cases, from initial filings to court appearances. You'll work closely with clients and internal legal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant case handling.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and approve bankruptcy pleadings.Handle all stages of bankruptcy matters, including:Proofs of ClaimMotions for ReliefObjections and ResponsesPayment Change NoticesSettlements and Adversary ProceedingsRepresent clients in mediations, depositions, and hearings (telephonic and in-person).Maintain regular communication and updates with clients.Support special projects and additional legal tasks as needed.Required Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) and active licensure in good standing with the Maryland and Virginia State Bars.Experience managing a high-volume bankruptcy caseload.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Professional, client-service mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Skills:Experience with adversary proceedings, payment change notices, or mediation.Familiarity with legal case management systems and client portals.Availability to attend in-person court hearings or depositions as needed.Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Why This Role Matters: As an Associate Attorney focused on bankruptcy law, you'll play a key role in supporting clients through complex financial legal matters.
