Rate: $65

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for core banking applications.

• Build and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks and test suites.

• Validate end-to-end business processes across distributed and mainframe-based systems.

• Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.

• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java-based test automation (e.g., Selenium, API automation, custom automation frameworks).

• Experience in functional and integration testing of enterprise applications.

• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

• Ability to work in Agile delivery environments.

Role Descriptions

10+ years in QA with 3+ years as Architect

Tools: Selenium| Playwright/Cypress| Appium| RestAssured

Languages: Java/Python/JS

Strong API & microservices testing experience

CI/CD| Agile| DevOps exposure

Define and implement automation frameworks (UI| API| Mobile)

Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins)

Drive QE practices (Shift Left/Right| BDD/TDD)

Ensure compliance with OSFI| PIPEDA| PCI-DSS

Oversee testing for digital banking| payments| lending systems

Mentor teams and enforce quality governance.
