License: Valid Michigan RN License required

Certifications: BLS (AHA) - pending accepted

Must-Have: Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (RN, LPN, Techs, etc.)

Description: Local rate applied for travelers within a specified distance from the facility. Must be available for the first two weeks of assignment for orientation. 36 or 48 hour weeks available. Will float to other Medical Surgical units as needed. Weekend requirement includes every other weekend. Cannot guarantee or approve block scheduling. Depending on unit needs, could be placed on a variety of units. All patients will include a mix of medical cases and specialties. Staffing ratio for nights is 1:5-6. Ratios may flex to 7-8 patients, but RNs will be paired with LPNs for support in those instances. Floating typically depends on need, with the expectation to float to other units roughly once per week. Include proof of flu vaccination with submission. Those seeking vaccination exemption must submit within specified timeframe.
