About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of IT Audit to play a key role in the execution and enhancement of its enterprise IT audit program. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing technology infrastructure, applications, data management, information security, and system implementations, with a strong focus on assessing technology-related risks in partnership with business and control functions. This role demands a professional with a background in both application and infrastructure environment auditing, a solid understanding of IT risk management frameworks, and the ability to lead audits from planning to reporting. Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly valued. Key responsibilities for the Associate Vice President of IT Audit include executing and supporting IT audit engagements, participating in enterprise risk assessments, and contributing to annual audit planning. The role also involves evaluating IT controls, system configurations, and technology processes, as well as performing testing and reviewing audit workpapers to ensure professional standards are met. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying control deficiencies, emerging risks, and opportunities for process improvement, and will be expected to prepare clear and concise audit reports, communicate findings to management, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and mentoring junior audit professionals are also integral to the position.
