Requirements

• Eaglesoft
• Licensed dental hygienist

Active Dental Hygienist license
Proficiency in dental and medical terminology related to patient care
Experience in dental scaling, prophylaxis, and patient assessment
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices
Familiarity with electronic health records management (preferably Eaglesoft)
Strong communication skills for effective patient education
Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental health
Ability to implement infection prevention and aseptic techniques

Job Description

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients of all ages
Assess patient oral health and review medical histories
Educate patients on preventive dental care and hygiene practices
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring HIPAA compliance
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols consistently
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and comfort
Operate medical imaging equipment as part of diagnostic evaluations
