Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery PRN Nights

Job Summary Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (PRN, Nights) Provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients; gynecological and surgical patients; plastic surgery patients; and newborns. The unit includes staffed registered nurses, OB technicians, and unit secretaries. Responsibilities Implement the nursing process for each patient, coordinate direct and indirect care, and adhere to the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and BHLAG policies and procedures. Responsibilities are commensurate with education, preparation, and demonstrated competencies. Requirements Associate’s degree in nursing Active Kentucky RN license Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Complete Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced fetal monitoring courses within 2 years of hire EEO Statement Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and encourages diverse applicants.
