Are you a driven finance leader ready to stop maintaining spreadsheets and start building a financial powerhouse?

OneRevel, a commercial AV integration company with a proprietary SaaS platform and a massive growth trajectory, is looking for our next Controller. We create the experiences that make enterprise brands, credit unions, sports teams, and live venues come alive, and we run a tight, high-performance operation to do it. We aren't looking for a bookkeeper who waits for direction. We want an aggressive, insightful leader who wants to own the numbers and scale into a CFO role alongside us.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the ultimate financial authority in the company. You will command the accounting function, overseeing two direct reports while taking absolute ownership of the monthly close-you run it, you verify it, and you sign off on it. This is a strategic role where you will lead budgeting, cash flow management, and complex revenue recognition, all while fully embracing our NetSuite and FloQast tech stack. Most importantly, we need a visionary who can look at a financial statement, immediately understand the story it tells, and translate that into actionable intelligence that drives major business decisions.

You belong here if you have proven accounting experience, have managed people, and possess a standard of accuracy so high that incorrect books genuinely bother you. When a number looks wrong, or a tool isn't working, you dig in and figure it out before leadership even has to ask. This seat is decidedly not for someone who needs constant direction, blames their tools, or whose five-year goal is to stay exactly where they are. We want a top performer who leads with absolute accountability and an ownership mindset.

Are your financial fundamentals sharp enough to step in and command our numbers from day one? To take the reins of our financials, we need an exceptional track record over a specific piece of paper: a CPA is preferred, but an undeniable history of operational success carries more weight. You must be local to the greater Salt Lake City area and ready to work fully onsite in our Kaysville office to drive our high-performance culture through direct collaboration. You must bring proven experience where you haven't just participated in the monthly close, but taken absolute ownership of it, backed by bulletproof fundamentals in debits, credits, complex reconciliations, and revenue recognition. Additionally, you need a history of elevating at least one direct report, the agility to navigate multiple ERPs (with NetSuite highly preferred), and direct experience with WIP and job costing, or the aggressive drive and aptitude to learn our specific methodology immediately.
