Overview Job Summary - Administrative Fellow The Corewell Health Administrative Fellow plays an active role in shaping the future of healthcare by engaging in governance, management, and operations across our integrated delivery system. Fellows lead and contribute to high-impact projects that drive innovation and operational excellence with a focus on program analysis, strategic planning, implementation, and presenting insights to executive leadership. This role builds on graduate healthcare administration study, expanding expertise in leadership, finance, and organizational strategy while collaborating with organizational leaders. Responsibilities Observe the management and operation of functions and entities within the health system including ambulatory and continuing care, hospital operations, financial management, health law, health policy, health insurance, human resources management, marketing and communications, program development, strategic planning, medical affairs, and informatics. Attend and participate in administrative and director meetings, including those of the Corewell Health Board and system/region leadership sessions. Execute special project assignments submitted by executive and director-level staff, analyze current or proposed health system components and business units, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and promptly. Provide project and observation updates to the CEO and COO as requested. Cultivate and sustain productive working relationships internally and externally. Participate in ongoing study to maintain professional competence and build on graduate education. Ensure patients, families, visitors, customers, and team members are treated with courtesy and respect. Demonstrate teamwork and integrity, aligning work with Corewell Health’s mission, vision, and values. Qualifications Required Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
