This cancer center operates at a large hospital providing specialized hematology and oncology services with comprehensive treatment capabilities. The facility maintains established protocols for quality patient care delivery with coordinated care between inpatient and outpatient settings. The center features modern equipment and dedicated support staff designed to support optimal patient outcomes.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care managing 9-12 patients per day with 2 new patients daily in clinic and inpatient rounding. Clinical responsibilities include day shift coverage with 1:3 call rotation working alongside 3 other hematology/oncology physicians. The clinician must maintain documentation through Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Medical Oncology and active New York licensure are required for this assignment.
