Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida (contract) Start Date: 8/3/2026 • Availability: 7.5 days per week • Pay Rate: $1,929.00 – $1,988.00 per week Job Overview AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well‑respected school district to provide speech and language services to students. The SLP will assess, develop IEPs, deliver therapy, and collaborate with educators and families. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable goals. Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings throughout the school year. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Offer training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies for integrating speech therapy goals into the classroom. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or a related field. State license required to start the assignment. Preferred Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Previous experience in a school, early childhood, or pediatric setting. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
