The Opportunity: Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Assembly Solder. The Electrical Assembly Solder is responsible for the soldering and wire crimping of electrical assemblies for gas turbine engines. Additionally, the Electrical Assembly Solder will: Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements. Perform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends and other simple cable operations Solder wires and other electronic components Perform assembly operations or inspection under microscope or other magnifying device as required Package parts her handling requirements, including ESD requirements Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments and HASS equipment Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in electrical soldering and wire crimping Ability to assemble circuit boards and wire harnesses Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
