This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) supporting diverse learners across three school locations near Newport News, VA. You'll have the unique chance to foster functional independence and student success as a valued occupational therapist within supportive educational environments.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Passion for working with K–12 populations
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability across multiple sites
• Familiarity with school-based OT practices and IEP documentation preferred
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and functional achievements
• Travel between three designated school locations as assigned
• Educate and empower teachers and families with strategies to reinforce therapy goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
