Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Senior Analyst, FP&AAs a Senior Analyst on our FP&A team, you will help Strata plan for the future and make informed financial decisions so we can empower the vital missions of our customers. You will support the company's expense planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, partnering closely with the VP of Finance, Accounting, and business leaders. You'll translate operating activity into clear financial insights, strengthen spending discipline, and help teams manage resources effectively while supporting scalable growth and profitability.This isn't just about crunching numbers—it's about turning expense data into actionable insight for a company operating at the intersection of healthcare and technology. In this role, you will:Maintain and enhance expense forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning models across departments and cost centersPrepare monthly and quarterly expense reporting, including budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis, trend commentary, and KPI trackingPartner with department leaders to develop spending forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and improve cost visibility and accountabilityAnalyze software, infrastructure, commissions, marketing, travel, and other operating expense drivers to support resource allocation decisionsBuild scenarios and business cases that evaluate spending alternatives, cost savings initiatives, and investment tradeoffsImprove recurring reporting and forecasting processes through standardized templates, automation, and effective use of financial systemsCollaborate with Accounting, People, Technology, and other functional teams to ensure expense data is complete, accurate, and alignedWhat we're looking for:3+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical experience, including meaningful responsibility for expense planning and reportingStrong experience with operating expense forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost-center reporting; SaaS, technology, or healthcare experience is a plusAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or similar platformsAbility to synthesize detailed financial data, identify key drivers, and communicate clear conclusions and recommendations to non-finance stakeholdersStrong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a track record of producing accurate, timely analysis in a fast-paced environmentExperience using automation, business intelligence, and AI-enabled tools to improve financial reporting and planning processesCollaborative, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional relationshipsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification is a plusEstimated Salary Range: $85,000- $110,000Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role.
