Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:

• The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• This role operates within the established policies and procedures of the organization, showcasing professional development and accountability.
• The staff nurse is tasked with upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing services.

Essential Education:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Experience Requirements:

• New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.

Licensure and Certification:

• A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a current NLC/eNLC Multistate License is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Additional Qualifications:

• For PRN roles, a minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is advantageous.
• Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is preferred, if applicable (refer to addendum).
• Experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
