Job Overview

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and craft individualized therapy regimens aimed at helping them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to uplift patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy approaches that will enhance progress in their everyday lives
• Track Progress and Modify Plans: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients advancing

Required Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education or additional certifications highly valued and encouraged

Certifications Needed

• Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
