Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions focusing on improving mobility, strength, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercise protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• Relevant clinical experience is highly desired
