Southern Health Partners is launching a new correctional healthcare program in Cook County, Georgia, and we’re looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to step into the Medical Team Administrator (MTA) role. As the LPN MTA, you’ll be an important part of establishing a consistent, organized, and patient-focused healthcare program from the start. You’ll provide hands-on nursing care while helping coordinate the day-to-day healthcare needs of the facility. This is an opportunity for an experienced LPN who enjoys autonomy, organization, teamwork, and making a difference. What You’ll Do Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions Administer medications and treatments as ordered Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs Coordinate daily healthcare activities and help maintain continuity of care Communicate with medical providers, correctional staff, and SHP leadership Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support compliance with company policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements Help establish organized and consistent healthcare processes at the new site Promote a professional, respectful, and patient-focused healthcare environment Qualifications What You’ll Bring Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN license Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and confidently make sound clinical decisions Dependability and professionalism Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team Previous leadership or healthcare coordination experience is a plus Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required Start Something New With SHP This isn't about stepping into someone else's routine.
