About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, TNCC Must-Have: - Orthopedic experience - Trauma orthopedic experience Description: Must include TNCC certification. Unit has 453 beds with a patient ratio of 1 to 1 in the OR. The type of equipment used includes orthopedic instruments. Documentation system in use is Meditech. The unit does not float to other departments. On-call schedule consists of 6 call shifts in a 4-week period. The weekend on-call requirement is necessary. Advanced skills required for procedures performed include arthroscopies, total joints, and orthopedic trauma surgeries. The dress code consists of hospital scrubs.
