Details Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting Cover Med/Surg Adult and PCU (Progressive Care/Telemetry) units Night shift schedule Required to flex between departments as needed Requirements Active WA or compact RN license Minimum 3 years of RN experience Experience required in Med/Surg and PCU/Telemetry areas Current BLS and ACLS certifications Additional Information Provide patient education and identify patient/family education needs using appropriate teaching methods Implement patient safety measures including side rails, restraints, and safe equipment use per restraint policy Demonstrate knowledge of safe operation and troubleshooting of PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg equipment Follow infection control and isolation procedures using standard precautions Maintain accurate, complete documentation of patient status, interventions, and responses Complete and verify physician orders in a timely manner, including 24-hour order checks Provide complete and accurate shift-to-shift report and interdepartmental communication Report critical lab values to physicians per policy Maintain and restock emergency carts and unit supplies Minimal RTO available due to holiday season coverage needs American Traveler Job ID P-747829.
