Laboratory Technician

Global specialty chemical company is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform quality control testing within their Houston-area production facility:


Prepares (formulations or samples) and executes testing making adjustments to pre-established guidelines per observations.
Works independently or with minimal supervision of senior technical personnel.
Complete laboratory projects from start to finish with minimal supervision and accomplish projects in a timely manner.
Maintains laboratory notebook. Performs data entry, graph or chart generation.
Write complete laboratory reports and maintain documentation as required for review with minimal support.
Executes day-to-day tactical duties and tasks to maintain the lab in working order and fully functioning with minimal supervision (e.g. calibrations, stocking supplies, chemical inventory, shipping)

• Gas chromatography, liquid chromatography , ion chromatography, gel permeation chromatography
• Titration: Karl Fisher water , amine number, acid number, hydroxyl number , pH , sodium sulfite, ethylene glycol
• Viscosity : Brookfield, Ubbelohde
• UV-Vis Spectrophotomer
• Total Organic Carbon Analyzer
• Cloud Point
• Spectrocolorimeter
• Batch Record
• Hydration

-GC, HPLC, IC, Titration, pH, KF Testing Preferred
