Personal Lines Insurance Account ManagerPosition Summary: The Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of insurance business, marketing new and renewal business, and rounding out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager also maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Essential Tasks:Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client's insurance policiesPreparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriersAssisting with cancellations of policiesEducating clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needsHandling renewals and remarketing as neededDeveloping proposals and may present to clientsHandling or referring insured's questions or delegates to appropriate team memberActively referring clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new businessMaintaining detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24)Maintaining healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholdersOn occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepanciesKeeping informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay currentCore Competencies:Ability to Analyze and Solve ProblemsAttention to DetailCommunication SkillsTimely Task CompletionTeam CollaborationClient FocusDependabilityCreative ThinkingOrganizational SkillsAdaptabilityExperience and Education: 3-5 years of Personal Line Insurance experience required. Licensing and Credentials: Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required. Designations preferred (i.e CISR, CIC, CPRIA). Systems: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds. Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens. Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person. Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key.
