Tax Senior

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, not-for-profit organizations and retirement plans.
- Assists associate and staff accountants with general tax return problems.
- Prepare payroll tax and sales tax returns.
- Prepare and analyze tax planning projections.
- Quantify and document federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments.
- Perform research on technical tax issues and respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Valid license as a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of completing requirements for licensure
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting with the demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including expertise with US GAAP
- Proficiency with computer tax preparation, research, and planning software programs
