Front Desk/Cashier Position

Our ideal front desk/cashier candidates must be willing to work in a team environment which includes a call center and go above and beyond in providing customer service to our patients.

Location: 120 Westminster Pike, Reisterstown, MD 21136

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Rotating late night on Monday/Tuesday up to 6:00pm

The medical receptionist is the first point of contact and provides a professional, supportive, and nurturing experience for patients and visitors via telephone and/or in person. The medical receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls for the healthcare provider, scheduling appointments, and documenting messages in the EMR system.

The medical receptionist must be detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task to ensure that all front desk protocols are being performed efficiently and accurately.

The patient services front desk/cashier will perform duties including but not limited to:

• Identifying and quickly assessing the nature of calls and acting appropriately to provide prompt, professional service.
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance/resolving eligibility issues prior to a scheduled appointment.
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and account balances.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
• Medical Office experience is required.
• Call Center experience is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic and money calculating skills.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• EMR skills preferred.
