MRI Technologist

Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams, including both contrast and non-contrast studies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating GE EMR and Cerner systems and possess a strong foundation in MRI procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring quality images are obtained.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient information in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MRI Registered certification is required.
• Breast MRI experience is preferred.

Dress Code

Black scrubs are required.
