Position Summary: SolomonEdwards is seeking a talented Title Specialist to join our mortgage client team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to identify and promptly resolve curative issues. You will engage with clients, borrowers, internal teams, and external agencies to ensure timely clearance of title issues, aligning with our defined standards for excellence. Position Locations: Phoenix, AZ Tampa, FL St. Louis, MO Plano, TX Essential Duties: Conduct routine data entry and validation tasks. Analyze and summarize title abstracts and recorded documents affecting property titles (e.g., security deeds, conveyance deeds, liens, UCCs). Investigate and resolve outstanding liens, judgments, and various title issues, focusing on title curative grades. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under time‑sensitive conditions. Review and manage daily pipeline reports. Take necessary actions to cure title clearance items in concordance with established guidelines. Maintain open communication with team members and management. Support and manage lender relationships effectively. Utilize internal and external systems to gather additional title information. Oversee a portfolio of curative files, ensuring efficient processing and tracking. Accurately update both client and internal systems as required. Interact with clients, borrowers, internal staff, and external agencies seamlessly. Handle routine communications via calls, emails, and chats. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred or Equivalent Work Experience. Minimum of 1 year mortgage experience preferred. General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulations. Knowledge of title searches, title examination, and lien clearance across multiple states. Ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels. Skills and Job‑Specific Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational, follow‑up, and time‑management skills. Effective communication, interpersonal, persuasive, negotiating, and relationship‑building abilities. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Travel Requirements: No travel required unless at the client's discretion. Salary Range: We value your unique experience and background, therefore the compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $20 - $24.
