Extrusion Operator - Overnight Shift

Souderton, PA Night Shift - 2 on - 2 off -3 on (7PM - 7AM) Hourly Rate based on experience

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate blown film extrusion equipment to meet production and quality standards. Monitor processes and product quality and make adjustments as needed. Perform in process quality testing and document results. Complete job changeovers and prepare equipment for upcoming runs. Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and escalate when needed. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and plant policies and report near misses or incidents immediately. Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement projects, and training activities. Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards. Support training of new team members. Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not required. Training provided. Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic hand tools. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the shift. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 pounds and move heavier loads using hand trucks or material handling equipment.
