Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Specialty Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year of Experience Required License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry, Skills in Telemetry Monitoring Description: Registered Nurse for the Medical Specialty Unit. This is a 13-week assignment with a night shift schedule. The shift hours are from 18:45 to 07:15. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:5. Candidates must have 1 year of experience in a similar specialty. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend requirements include 8 shifts within a 6-week scheduling period. The role involves caring for patients post-cath, among other diagnoses. Regular floating between departments may be required based on facility needs. The hospital has a total of 240 staffed beds with an emphasis on interdisciplinary support. Candidates should possess skills related to telemetry and the management of various medical procedures. Additional experience relevant to the role includes patient assessment and care management. The position does not require on-call duties. Candidates must be willing to comply with facility requirements and complete necessary training.
