Job Description Job Description Become a Part of Our Maternal Fetal Medicine Team We are looking for a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology , specifically within the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) division. Why Choose Us? * Be a part of the only Level IV NICU in the area * Support a varied patient demographic with intricate maternal-fetal requirements * Join a distinguished academic medical institution dedicated to education and research Main Responsibilities * Deliver maternal fetal medicine services that include: * High-risk ultrasounds * Prenatal consultations * Antepartum care * Work within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its associated inpatient facilities * Educate and guide medical students, residents , and MFM fellows * Engage in scholarly activities , with chances for regional and national presentations and publications Qualifications * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) * Eligible for New York State medical licensure * Demonstrated clinical expertise with a focus on: * Collaborative, team-oriented care * Independent decision-making capabilities * Commitment to academic and educational excellence The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology encompasses five clinical divisions: General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department is home to 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows (one per year). The MFM division conducts fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and other advanced procedures.
