Role Summary
In collaboration with the Design Manager and Design Leads, the Design Services Assistant supports the container design projects and private events in-store, off-site, and in private residential settings. They support the operational tasks of project installations for Design Services. They play a key part of the installation process through the staging and movement of products along with other supplies needed for Design Services jobs. They uphold terrain's four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.
Role Responsibilities
- Manages day to day logistics, pulls product needed for jobs, maintains plants and product as needed
- Assists with the physical arrangement and tear down of residential installations as well as on and off-site events
- Supports with clean up and break down on the job site
- Enjoys working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, contributing to the installation experience by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
- Assists leadership team in maintaining back of house standards
- Adheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
Role Qualifications
- Experience in customer service
- Creative thinking and problem solving ability
- Basic knowledge and skill of power tools
- Ability to lift in excess of 75lbs and push/pull 100lbs on a daily basis
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business
