Work setting: medical step-down and CCU care environment
This travel assignment is a temporary, location-based nursing role focused on patients requiring medical step-down and critical care-level monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients requiring medical step-down or CCU-level monitoring and intervention.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, assess patients, and respond to clinical changes or emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; manage IVs and infusion therapies as indicated.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans; document patient care accurately and timely.
- Ensure fall prevention, infection control, and patient safety standards are maintained; participate in daily rounds and discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of critical care or step-down experience; 2 years preferred
- BSN or higher degree preferred; other Magnet-recognized certifications considered a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation as needed (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am)
- Must be able to work in a medical step-down/CCU care environment
