Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of power infrastructure products used across the industry.You'll develop product part and assembly designs, drawings, and specifications that meet technical, functional, and manufacturing requirements. This includes evaluating and recommending specifications to ensure products perform reliably in demanding utility environments.Your technical responsibilities include performing feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs, and managing prototype development and testing to validate performance before production. You'll write test reports for internal use and publication, contributing to the company's technical knowledge base and industry reputation.You'll review and analyze proposed product changes, facilitating the creation and approval of engineering drawing changes while ensuring updates maintain product integrity and compliance. Throughout the process, you'll recommend and follow reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures that balance innovation with manufacturability.Working both independently on moderately complex product lines and collaboratively with the engineering team, you'll ensure project milestones are met and timelines are maintained.
