Key Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous patient care within a Labor and Delivery and/or Antepartum setting
• Perform cervical exams and triage assessments independently
• Circulate for Cesarean sections
• Perform infant deliveries (baby catch)
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using electronic fetal monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Intermediate or Advanced certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a non-teaching hospital environment
• Antepartum nursing experience
• Strong independent clinical decision-making skills in Labor and Delivery
