This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of complex technical challenges, drive solutions end-to-end, and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using JDK 11+Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend servicesDevelop cloud-ready applications and integrations using AWS servicesWrite efficient, high-quality SQL queries and work with relational databasesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to deploymentUse Git and version control best practices to manage codebasesWrite and maintain bash scripts for automation and operational tasksTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environmentsParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Java (JDK 11 and above)Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or similar)Expertise in API development and microservicesStrong SQL skills with experience in performance tuningProficiency with Git and version control workflowsExperience with bash scripting for automationSolid understanding of software engineering principles and design patternsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-codeFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologiesSoft SkillsHighly enthusiastic and self-drivenProactive in identifying issues and proposing solutionsA true go-getter who thrives in dynamic environmentsTakes ownership and delivers projects end-to-endStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesTapestry, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and we pride ourselves on hiring and developing the best people.
