Employee Relations & Talent Partner (Industrial Operations)

Job Description

Job Description

Step into a day that blends people advocacy, precision, and pace

By 9 a.m., you’ve cleared Kronos exceptions, flagged an absence trend, and answered two confidential employee questions. Late morning is all about talent—screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and moving both permanent and temporary requisitions forward. After lunch, you coach a supervisor through a sensitive employee-relations matter, document outcomes, and update SAP HR and HR Org-Management to keep data spotless. You wrap with onboarding prep for next week’s hires, a check-in on FMLA and short-term disability cases, and a quick safety walk to reinforce EHS and cGMP expectations.

What you’ll own

• Be the trusted first point of contact for employees; nurture healthy relationships and timely issue resolution.
• Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Run full-cycle recruiting for all openings (permanent and temporary): sourcing, interviews, selection, offers, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and documentation for compensation, role changes, benefits, training, and discipline.
• Update and safeguard HR data in SAP and HR Org-Management to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Administer core HR processes: hiring/staffing, benefits administration, new-hire orientation, absenteeism monitoring, and timekeeping.
• Support FMLA, short-term disability, and workers’ compensation cases; track, communicate, and document diligently.
• Lead and deliver HR projects and department initiatives, meeting milestones and goals.
• Plan and execute site employee activities that strengthen engagement and culture.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to policies and procedures while ensuring alignment with U.S. and Pennsylvania labor laws.
• Manage payroll-related tasks in Kronos, partnering closely with payroll stakeholders.
• Champion safety/EHS directives, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and operate within cGMP standards.
• Tackle additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and business.

What you’ll bring

• BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (required).
• 5+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Pennsylvania labor and employment laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and KRONOS.
• Familiarity with cGMP and ISO standards (preferred).
• Meticulous attention to detail paired with a service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and speak English clearly.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed organization; agile, organized, and collaborative.
