Construction Manager

Position: Construction Manager Location: Alpharetta, GAJob Summary & Qualifications & QualificationsThe individual in this role has 10+ years of experience in this industry and a minimum of 3 years in a non-managerial role, leading activity of other project team members on-site, or direct management of employees in a prior managerial role. They already possess the knowledge of advanced understanding of HVAC and Security industry, as well as Safety and Commissioning processes and best practices.Individual demonstrates excellent customer service and leadership skills. As a manager, will interview, hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and when necessary, terminate operations personnel or make related recommendationsResponsible for the administration of company policies including safety, utilization, tools, and training/development. This position is also responsible for managing operations personnel in accordance with company HR policies and proceduresThis position typically reports into an Operations ManagerResponsibilities IncludePerform annual and midyear performance reviews for employeesEstablish performance goals for employeesEstablish training plans for all employees and encourage them to keep their training up to datePerform regular site visits and 1:1 meetings with direct reportsFind opportunities to interact with customers to assess how team is performing, incorporate feedback into department ways of workingContribute to departmental or branch strategic planningEnsure direct reports are properly equipped with tools and safety PPE required to perform their responsibilities on customer sitesCoach and mentor direct reports through daily construction and commissioning questions and share best practicesStay informed of new developments in field tools and technology and apply them to projects or business processes as requiredAccountable for proper scheduling and utilization of employees within the teamPropagate new installation, safety, and commissioning ideas within department/branchManage the process of receiving documentation, scheduling, and conducting sales release meetingsAssist sales personnel in review of project cost estimates, assist in creation of sales stage deliverablesLead quality control and safety audit activity for department or branch, approve audits performed by others Manage key performance indicators/measures on behalf of Operations ManagerDevelop and conduct sub contractor training to help them learn and understand design drawingsBring your project leadership expertise to a team that's ready to welcome you—apply now!At Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
